If you care about government openness, transparency, and participation, now is the time to plug into the
White House's Science & Technology Blog. The White House is holding a high-level discussion on this blog over the next week where readers can contribute to open government principles.
This is the second phase of a
three-phase effort to collaboratively build openness rules for the government. The goal is to give the White House feedback based on issues raised in the first phase, the brainstorming phase. The results of the brainstorming are summarized in the White House's
mega mindmap and the
National Academy of Public Administration's report (PDF).
You can already contribute to the discussion on transparency. To do contribute, you must
register first. Then log-in and simply comment (or vote on other comments) on Beth Noveck's
June 4 post on transparency governance or
other posts.
I suggest supporting your comments through personal experiences or examples to maximize the impact of your comments.
